CSAAS is a privately held company selling direct and delivering our solutions via the internet.
Our solutions are “Net-Native” meaning they’re designed to run across the internet without the use of 3rd party components. Our flagship products are:
1) Accu-Grader, a web-based standards based report card manager for k-12 school districts;
2) Rebatics – a web-based Rebate application used by utility companies. Currently being enhanced to include complete check management, online documentation workflow, a more comprehensive dealer/vendor network and integrated fax/email capability.
3) Remote Backups / Co-Location services
4) Custom solutions developed and hosted by us.
John H. Macomson is founder and CEO. John is a graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in computer science and an M.B.A. After working in the software development field for over ten years John founded Carolina Software as a Service and remains with the company today as CEO. John realized the potential of on-demand software services early on and began transitioning his 15 year old company to the software as a service model in ‘2004. Since then, CSAAS has expanded to have a national presence by having built and hosting business critical On Demand applications for numerous Fortune 500 companies throughout the southeast.
CSAAS has been featured in regional business magazines, and was a 2005 and 2007 finalist for the prestigious Deloitte Innovision’s Technology Award.
In the past two years Carolina Software as a Service has tripled in size, both in revenue and employees, and continues to grow with the burgeoning software as a service movement.
Karen S. Masters, CPA serves CSAAS as an independent Chief Financial Officer. The purpose of this position is to assist management with strategic business planning. Masters is the owner of MASTERS CPA FIRM, LLC, a practice devoted to the accounting and tax services needed by individuals and closely held businesses in Upstate, SC. She is a Certified Public Accountant in SC and holds the designations of Certified Management Accountant and Certified in Financial Management.
Matthew T. Hanna, CTO is Chief Technical Offficer. Matt has been with the company for nearly 10 years, has numerous Microsoft certifications and was the lead developer with Accu-Grader and Rebatics.
